Has anyone got one firstly? What are your thoughts on using one that isn't bolted down? Ive been using one but it seems to move around when lifting or lowering more than I would like. If they are supposed to be bolted down why do they come with wheels to move them around?

I like my 4 post. I have used it outdoors for over 10 years and no problems. The best 2800.00 I have spent I'm now 60 I love more each DAY there's a lot of things I'd sell or trade not my hoist I use it for a welding table ,jig and hoist. The only thing I'd change is to get a larger one my 2500 Cummings Dodge is about as large as it will take the outside mirrors need to be folded in. The wheels are nice I can move a outfit on the hoist in a lowered position it is handy now& then.

Mine isn't bolted down. Doesn't move as best as I can tell when lifting a car, or my F250 Crew. When I use it to move motorcycles down from some pallet racking, it sways a bit when I roll a bike on it and hit the brakes while it is at maximum height, but not enough to bother me.
