Thoughts on vinyl paint booth solutions?

I've got a 3200 sqft space and would like to be able to do some light spraying indoors. (Spot and panel clear, not a whole car or anything...) I've been seeing vinyl paint booths and I'm curious as to whether any of you have any experience with them.

For the money, they seem pretty decent.

I'm wondering how ventilation looks and how easy it is to keep outside contaminates (sanding dust from a nearby station) to a bare minimum.

Thoughts? :)

Got a link to the product you are talking about? There are various threads on here about using curtains, pvc frames, etc. Ventilation seems to be the biggest challenge.

Good link berry!

Depends largely on your price point and shop set up. The easiest, cheapest and decent booth set up Ive seen is to build 2 walls on small rollers to bring out from a corner in your shop to create a booth area.

I paint in my shop but just use a plastic curtain to cut my shop in half. I have a built-in fan up high on one wall then use a furnace filter that fits into a window on the opposite side. This is also the side of my shop with the furnace, so I can increase the temp a fair bit in there. Take a look through my project thread - I just did a 240Z using Dupli-Colors PaintShop lacquers and it turned out nice, no dirt.

Got a link for the vinyl booth?
