Thread Chasing Die - Right Hand or Left Hand ?

What is meant by Right Hand - Left Hand on a thread chasing die?
Is it a simple as "Clockwise/Counter Clockwise?

Any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Right hand for right hand threads (by far the most common). Turn Clockwise to tighten, counter clockwise to loosen.

Left hand for left hand threads. (used in special applications such as where rotation could cause a right hand thread to loosen).

The most common left and right hand that you would have access to are the pedals on a bicycle. One is threaded right and the other left and to remove them you have to loosen them in the reverse direction you would turn them riding the bike.
