Thread pitch identification help (ACME?)

Can anyone identify what thread type this is? ACME I assume? It's from a piece of denture equipment, it is brass. It is stuck tight.

Questions:

1. Is there a properly priced thread-pitch-gauge out there for ACME threads (non-china)?
2. Is there a source of fairly priced taps/dies for cutting or fixing these threads (non-china)?

Thank you,
IM

If it's ACME it's badly worn. Looks more like a 'knuckle' thread to me, and if so, you're not going to find a die that'll fit it. That's machine-made stuff.

Doc.
