I have posted in many threads but I can never tell if there are responses in them when I sign back in is the only to go to new post and scroll through them all?

You can use the thread tools->'subscribe to this thread' option and be notified when there's an update to threads that interest you. You can also check through the user CP section to see if updates have been made to your subscribed threads.

If you don't want to subscribe, but know you posted in a thread, the other option is to check in your profile (click on your own user name), 'show all statistics' on the right (below your avatar in the 'mini statistics' section), then either find threads you started, or find your own posts in threads you contributed to. Subscription is definitely the easier option.

try to click on User CP => Edit Options => and view the 4th box down from the top called Default Thread Subscription Mode => see if it is set to Do Not Subscribe... if it is, then set it to No Email Notification so you auto subscribe to threads in which you post.

make sense?
