Here is a knockdown I just completed on a 1000sq. ft. ranch. Nothing was left but the floor system and the garage ( of course  ) We added a complete 2nd floor and two story front and rear additions. The garage itself is in the final stages on completion on its makeover so I thought it was time to show some of it.

The garage is located at the right rear side covered in plywood as of this photo.

Here's the inside of the three car garage. A lift is being added to the one bay at the end of the month. There are two regular garage door openers and one side mount operating the steel insulated doors.

Some more

GarageTech was there today installing the slat wall panels on three of the four walls.

The floor is ceramic tiled. They will cap the concrete block along the side with tile as well.

The utilities are also located raised up with tile underneath for a neat clean look.

Then the place will get final paint, cabinets and the classic Camaro arrives !

That's no wreath, it's a monster truck tire.

RedRacer, when you say you completed it, do you remodel for a living or just a designer or ?

I design renovations here on Long Island, upstate New York and the Northwest Corner of Ct.. I have been trying to make it back to many of the recently completed garage projects. I made many site visits to this particular project and am working on one more renovation and a detached garage for this owner ( summer home in the North Fork of Long Island )

I get many car guy projects to design due to the fact I am a known " Car Crazy " person. You never know what you'll see stopping by my place in Ct.. My friends have a variety of cars from Ferrari's to 800hp. Lister Jaguar ( soon to be turbo) kit cars and the many racecars.

Tile under lift.

Here's a couple of pic's of the tile. Its 1/2 inches thick and 5 3/4 x 5 3/4. The tile people say it can take the load when properly installed and the tile guy has no worries about it either as he has used it before. The pad of the four post lift should spread the weight enough to not crack the tile. This owner will never move the lift and therefore would never see the cracked tile should it happen anyway.

As with any tile job installation is everything. I have one tile in my hallway that has a hollow sound when you walk on it. It wasn't buttered properly and will probably crack someday. Larger tile 15 x 15 and its dissappointing that it happened.

I will post the side garage view when the storage container gets removed as well as the inside when completed.

Some work days are more fun than others.

Wow what a beautiful car.
I didn't design the future home for this ride but I am obtaining the variances / permits for it. Should be really nice when done.
