I think the 7.1MP digital camera that keeps getting added to my order might have something to do with it...

I just ordered 15 of each since you have to order at least $1.00. Total order was $1.44 said it will be in store in 20-25 days. We will see what happens.

I finally got that damn camera to go away, and ordered a set of pliers. I added a $3.99 screwdriver to make the total acceptable. Just got the confirmation email.

bmwpower_ Why can't you order the pliers?

I JUST ordered mine with no problem. They gave me an expected delivery date at the store of 9/20/07. I will be impatiently awaiting my pickup email.

I click on the links above and I get "Are you looking for something at Sears?" BS screen as if they're not online anymore. Are these links bad??!? Someone send me the right ones or tell me what I'm doing wrong!

Now I get the screen that comes up with "Are you looking for something at Sears?"

Has this type of thing happened before that you guys have seen? Did it all pan out, and people end up with the tools they ordered?

Edit: I just checked my debit card account, and they have charged my card already. I hope those three dozen wrenches are worth my $1.15 I spent.

I tried a few times last night, never worked. Just tried and I was able to order them.

We'll see what happens...

Slickdeals is a great site. I check it regularly too, but somehow missed it. Luckily I have my order in, just curious to see if sears chooses to fill the order.

One thing that is interesting is the part numbers that we ordered do not match to the pro's that the pictures indicated and the descriptions don't have "professional" in the item description as the pros currently on the website. Wonder what we actually ordered.

I'm interested in buying a set of three from anyone who bought extra. I'll even up the purchase price :)

Well,
I placed one order for one of each of the pliers, plus a screwdriver and the total came to $4 and change. I got a confirmation email on that order, my account was charged, and I got another email about an hour later stating the screwdriver was ready for pickup. I'm not driving to Chico for one screwdriver, so I am waiting "16-18 days" for the rest of the order to arrive.

Then I got greedy and placed another order for 15 each of the pliers. No confirmation email, but I got one a few hours later stating that Sears had cancelled the order due to either "demand for the item or a problem with your payment method". Since they had already charged my card for that order, it obviously not a payment problem. I guess the demand was pretty high...;)

So, at this point, the first order is still shown as "processing" on the Sears site, the second order is showing as "completed" and my account is still showing the charges for both orders.

We'll see....:dunno:

I serioulsy think the Sears online page is messed up pricing wise. I was looking at a 6 piece combination wrench set this morning (SK) and it said $866.99. :headscrat

Then two pages later, a larger set with the same 6 wrenches in it and then some for only 129.99

Something is jacked up on their online pages. First 3 cent pliers now 6 piece wrench sets worth $866.99?

Well just got this email from Sears:

16th, 2007 has been cancelled due to a pricing error. We want to assure
you that no charges were applied to your card. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause you. If you have any questions or concerns,
please e-mail us at [email protected] or call us at
1-800-349-4358.

Something does not seem quite legal here. Smells like a bait and switch type deal to me. Post a low price to get people to the site, people order stuff, cancel all orders on the "pricing error" stuff.
