Oh, I don't know about that. Unless he's paid through the nose for those, picking three old vices up in one fell swoop, which have suffered no notable abuse and only have superficial rust is a pretty good deal any day of the week. That looks like a tidy haul.

Concur on the first Parker and Rock Island. My money says the big one is an American Scale, however.

That could be AS, they liked the squared off screw head... I'll compare against my AS fixed jaw after work...

Well, some of it maps to the AS, some does not, but I'm leaning AS anyway...

Of course, the OP can weigh in adn end the mystery any time!

Screw head and Jaw inserts ("C" style) are similar, but the side panels on my AS are "pictureframed" and this one isn't.

I think the jaw widths here are: RI = 4 Parker = 5, and the mystery vise = 6...

My 6" AS appears to have a larger slide?
