I have a 12 x 20 enclosed patio, aka three seasons room

Would a wall or ceiling mount electric heater help take the chill out of the room?

Or baseboard heater be more effective?

Im not talking about using the room during winter Temps, but trying to see if it would be worthwhile during early spring or fall?

I have numerous standard electrical outlets available

An electric cove heater might be an option. It is a radiant heater for it will heat surfaces under it more than air.

Mine had a huge natural gas heater in it was 55,000BTU. We took it out when we bought the house however, as it was red tagged by our gas co.

Oscillating infrared ceramic tower heaters are nice, and can be had cheap

However, not sure I want it to take up floor space

I have 7 decent sized windows in the room, on two walls.....one of which also has a glass patio door, which leads out to the exterior 12 x 20 deck

The other two walls have a sliding doors to enter the house and the other wall has a door to enter the garage addition

I found some 5' and 6' lengths of baseboard style heaters for cheap on Marketplace

I might try this route first, since heat rises

I like the ceramic infrared idea also, to heat objects rather than air

My folks have a three season room probably close to the same size as yours, and the electric baseboard heaters they have seem to work well.

Following as I have a similar sized room. I would love to be able to sit out there in the winter, but am running into the same issue.
3 walls of glass (one is a slider) and then door to the house.

What is the rest of the house heated with ?

It's just BTU math .... I have a 25 by 35 room off the back of my house with a lot of glass on three sides. In my case I have a heated floor .... but -- just have to crank it up. The nice thing about electric -- it's quick and if you size correctly it's comfortable as you can wash the windows.

I love being out there in the winter with snow all around ...

I know a premium home builder and they either use gas or 220v powered radiant heaters for these type of setups.
Do you have pics? I am looking for some ideas to build a glass walled 3 season room for our backside.

In my case, gas in the house, but might go electric to not worry about venting, etc.
The sunroom was built over the previous deck; makes me wonder if insulating between the joists would make a big difference.

House has natural gas

In fact, I buried a gas line and ran gas into the three seasons room.

I have a large cooking grill and commercial grade vent hood. I grill out and cook year round, and my stainless grill will last forever because it's never exposed to the elements

This sounds like an awesome set-up. "maybe the next house" for me.

O.P.... I have a 3 season room that I heated with in-floor electric, and installed ceramic tile over that. Has been in for 10 years or so, and works well. If the floor is warm, it's very comfortable without heating the whole room to 70-something deg. You can go on some of the manuf websites, and provide the room dimensions, door threshold locations, etc, and they will provide an installation diagram at no charge, and if you order the materials from them, it comes pre-cut to the proper length, correct thermostat, and pretty much everything else you will need.

In the old days those rooms got a PTAC ... like what is in a motel room. They were all over the beach communities in the 60/ 70's -- companies making them in various sizes and configurations ... the roof on them is a panel system. Still making --- sort of fell out a favor around me. The small sized rooms got a through wall AC w/ electric heat. -- the better PTAC's are heath pumps. My guess is the Mini-Split would be the ticket -- but, that requires another sub. Relative on the better 1/2's side had one done early in Covid and used a PTAC .. they are much better then years ago ... not Mini-split quiet.
