Three Snap-On K260 combos on Ebay right now

What are the chances of that? I came across one on accident in an unrelated search. Then I got curious and saw the other two listed.

I know some collectors spend years looking for this combo and they don’t come up everyday. I can’t remember the last time I saw more than one for sale at a time. Might be a buyer’s market right now if someone is looking.

On that note, out of curiosity to see what it might sell for I added the $3000 priced listing to my “watch list” the other day when I stumbled upon it. A day later the seller sent me an offer that he would sell it for $2000. Still for sale but maybe worth noting if anyone here is interested.

(I have no affiliation with any of the sellers. Just thought it was very surprising to see three of these for sale at the same time.)

They have been on there. Repaints and one taken apart for restoration. The value drops in those cases.

Agreed. I think the pricing is a bit optimistic in these cases given the condition of them.

They are there for a while
There was one sitting there from Livonia Michigan for a long time - eventually sold for 3000. He/she initially advertised on GJ if I remember correctly with another box and wanted 10,000 for it. then put it on ebay and it stayed there forever.

I hope one day to find one for less in the wild...

The 90% one has been on Ebay since the dawn of time. The others are beyond delusional on pricing. If I used these three as comps, I'd want 10 grand for mine.

I paid around 200 bucks a few years back. They are still out there.

I think the fact that there are three of them currently and publicly for sale confirms that indeed they are still out there. A few years ago when I was looking I couldn’t shake one out of anywhere.

Sonny, you have got to be one of the few people on the planet that could buy one of these for $200. If I didn’t know you better I would call BS on that. However, having personally witnessed your abilities to find and create killer deals I know you are telling the truth. I think it might fall into the “incredibly unlikely” category for most of us mere mortals to find a deal like that though.

I think these sellers are hoping for someone with more money to spend than patience to wait for a good deal.
