found this at the thrift store for the reasonable price of $5 !!:bounce:

face is marked BUCHBINDER SERVICE REPAIR- DETROIT MI
clock is made by WARREN TELECHRON- ASHLAND MASS

looks fairly old. maybe 40's-50's?

Reminds me of a garbage dump trip, around 10 years ago. Someone demo'd a school and they tossed around 10-15 clocks from the 50's ?
Just far enough so nobody climbed in the garbage to pull them out.
I was tempted :)

Nice. Probably a lot better made than the junk of today. Are you going to paint it red or something?

What's the model number stamped on the back? The photo has a reflection where I can't read it. Probably not newer than 1946, when the company stopped using the "Warren" name and became simply "Telechron."

the spot on the plate for the model# to be stamped was left blank. the red&white sticker on the back has this on the top: W.T.-31-S 10M 9-12-30

i wonder if that means its from 1930? i cant decide if im going to paint it or leave it alone..:headscrat
