I just bought a 14k at Lowes this morning. Anything bigger than that was 230V. If I'm not mistaken, the next step up was 18k.

Has anyone tried a "window/through the wall' A/C heatpump? I would like a unit for my 18x19 garage to make it workable year round( Phoenix area). Local online dealer has 12K units for $365 in Frigidaire and LG, but only offers a 90 day warranty. Garage has no windows, 16x7 metal door with 2" foam added, walls are R13 and ceiling is R36. Would only be using it on weekends during the summer months and sparingly to take the chill off in Nov thru Feb during the few times the temps drop into the low 30's here in winter. Got a car project I need to get working on, but can't stand the heat/cold 7 days a week( Fleet mechanic).

On a side note...

The air-conditioner packaging is predominately Spanish text.

Along with English (Amurican)

I also noticed that the instruction manual and was folded so that the Spanish instructions were first....

You have to flip through the pages to get to English (page 19)

WTF ?

Just realized I never posted a picture of the final product.

I was able to get everything sorted.

Thanks do jumbojak for some helpful measurements via pm

Nice and cool in the old band room today.
