Doing a wood project. Grabbed my 1/4 sheet Porter Cable palm sander. Noticed that the rubber pad has disintegrated. This is an older made in USA unit. I saved the manuals, found the parts sheet, ordered the plate on line from Amazon.
Same day, needed supplies, went to Menards. Saw that they had sanders on sale, and if my feeble memory serves correct, at a price less than what I purchased my P/C at.
All were asian, except the P/C which is messican, which I bought.
Anyhoo, no parts sheet in the box. No parts available on line. Same plate as my old one.
New electric tools are throwaways, I guess.
