I'm installing 2 through-the-wall AC units and both Amana sleeves (purchased separate from the units) have dents around the edges and some deformities on the grill. these really look like manufacturing defects as there is no damage to the shipping boxes and the paint is perfect, as if they were painted after the dents were made.
Is this normal with PTAC or TTW sleeves? I did get a heck of a deal on the price and wonder if this could be typical for scratch-n-dent resellers. I got them from Ferguson's online store. Thanks
