A couple weeks ago I ordered the Channellock CBR-8 Electricians plier set from National Tool Warehouse. During the online order, I initially went down the Paypal route, but changed my mind. Backing up and going down the credit card path, I didn't pay attention to the totals info, and "lost" my free shipping code.
I caught the oopsie after I finalized the order, and planned on calling them Monday to try to sort through the mess. That was Saturday. Sunday, I got an email from them saying that they saw I tried to place an order using Paypal, then placed an order that went through, but missed out on my free shipping. They told me that they would put the order through and credit my card for the shipping.
They did so, and Thursday the order arrived, complete and what I expected.
Big thumbs up for NTW for proactive customer service.
