Just wondering if anyone has come up with any clever ways to store their ratcheting tie downs. Any clever ways to keep the extra length of strap wound out and out of the way, yet easily extended to get the length needed.
I bought a couple of 4 packs at BJ wholesale over the summer for attaching stuff to the roof rack ect. The only issue is that the strap is like 50 feet long. I don't want to cut it, guaranteed that it will be too short when I want to use it. Now if what I want to hold down is small then I have all this extra strapping to deal with. pain in the but. I did have a large rubber band holding the extra but have to re-roll the extra every time.
Just throwing this out there. I am sure I can come up with something. Wonder what others have done.
