I'm in the process or straighting out a garage that a bad contractor started. The foundation is 4x4's on the parking slab. However about 1/2 of the slab is asphalt driveway. The concrete side is anchored to the 4" slab. I want to tie down the asphalt side with hurricane or mobile home anchors. I figured one at the front right corner, one at 1/2 the length at 13.5ft and one at the back corner. Maybe more?
I don't know what would be the best way to tie it down, maybe run a cable or strapping through the trusses from front to back or just from the truss to the anchor. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to anchor it down. We get high winds up here.
