Hi, do anyone know of a tool that would make it easier to unscrew the old tie rod end ?

I'm talking about the section of the tie rod end that screws in the threaded sleeve.

I was working on my Grand Cherokee today and it took forever using a pipe wrench.

Hm, not sure what the Jeep outer tie rod end looks like. On my subaru's I just use a 17mm and a 19mm flare nut wrench, one to hold the inner tie rod in place, and the other I beat with a dead blow until the jam nut loosens up.

If you need to remove the inner tie rod, Lisle and others make a long tool that slips over the inner end to let you remove it.

I've got that socket from snap on. Works pretty good. And I got an inner tie rod tool.
