I have an ahp160st stick/tig welder. It comes with everything except a tig torch. The welder uses the smaller size quick connects, and the torch would need and external hose to run to the gas tank, does anyone know if the new Vulcan tig leads at harbor freight would work? They look like they are what i need but im not 100% sure, i only have 250$ in the welder, i really don’t want to spend that much on multiple torches trying to get one to work

Yes, that will get you everything you need, plus some extra bits in case you want to use it with a different machine.

Thanks!
I’ve been mulling this over for a few weeks trying to research this but never found a definite answer, i would eventually like to get an ac/dc machine to tig aluminum. On another note, I’m in need of a flowmeter, for as much as the gas will be used would i be ok to get a cheap one for now?

Sorry, but after looking at the tig torch again, (I did buy it) I realized you need an adapter to make it work. It comes with the small dinse connector, but its the kind that flows gas thru it. You can use the large Dinse connector then plug that into the adapter(also included) which has the gas hose and fitting that connects to the flow meter, but then you are left with a Large dinse connector. I have seen adapters to reduce that. I'll see if I can find a link

So the lead plugs into an adapter that splits between the welder and tank, is that correct?
And after using the splitter the adapter from large to small is used there and a large connector is then left, needing the above adapter,
I’m trying to see it in my head lol

Thats it. You could just find a torch with the correct fittings, but I dont think you can find one cheaper. Plus if you get the HF torch and adapter, I think you would be covered for almost any (standard) machine.

Doesn't even have to have a compatible connector just clamp the stinger on it...
