Tig torch question

Looking to buy a new torch for my Lincoln 225 tig. Want to get the weld craft WP-9F. Was wondering if I can just unscrew the torch head I'm using now and swap it with the WP-9F? Or do I have to buy the Dinso connector and another power hose? Just trying to save some cash. Thanks

I've never dealt with air cooled torches before but, I would think that you should be able to. Seeing as how they sell the torch bodies separate. What torch do you have on there now? Why not take it apart and head over to your local welding supplier and see if they are interchangeable.

You can just unscrew it, just slide the handel down to expose the connection.

I have the PTA-17 on there now. It's the torch that came with the Lincoln 225 from the factory. I've already taken it apart, just making sure the threads would be compatible

Yes The weld craft will fit. I have about 6 different weldcraft heads that all fit my Lincoln factory Hose.
