My son who likes STUFF, has a very large collection of same, attends auctions and swap meets to pickup even more Stuff. A good percentage of his holdings are tools, some of which I am cleaning up or repairing for him. He picked up a nice looking 350 amp. AC-DC Tig and stick welder complete with a water cooling system, bottle and cart. The only problem is we don't have the manual and all switch lettering is in Korean. Does anyone out there know anything about this machine or anyone that can read Korean that could translate the lettering? This machine is labeled Queen 350 TIG mfg. listed as QueenWelder. I have tried alibaba, but no matches, need help please!

not sure about welders, but most grey-market equipment is an Asian copy of some other popular US machine. They are generally tough to find parts and information for. Can you post a picture of it and the controls?

There are phone apps that you point the phone at the writing and it will give a live translation

Many thanks to those that have responded, things have been quite hectic, have several projects going right now and trying to get caught up for a 2 week trip out of town. So please excuse my inability to respond in a timely fashion.

zking: It may be a while before I can post a photo, I don't know how but will be learning.

rsanter: Your suggestion paid off this AM, great idea wish I would have thought of it myself, but them I don't have a phone that would work. Fortunately my son does and we now have the translation, most of it makes sense!

gungatim: You most likely are correct, because we now know what the lettering is on the dials and switches, we can call in a welder friend that knows inverter TIG machines. It has been a while since I used a TIG and then it was a 800lb. gorilla old school machine.
