I have seen many times on the forum that ya'll have bought tile at HD or Lowes for or under $1.00 SQFT. My question, all that I have ever seen at or near that price was neutral or cream type colors. Has anyone seen a grey either light or dark for that price. All that I have seen has been about $1.50 and up. I am doing prox 2,000 SQFT so the price makes a big difference.

I've been looking for the same thing for over a year. It doesn't exist, unless you find a deal on Craigslist, and my experience is that it doesn't exist there, either. Cheap = beige.

Go to Lowes.com
Hover over Savings-->Shop Clearance
On Left hand side, in departments, choose Flooring-->Tile&Stone--> in departments --> Floor Tile
Check ALL stores around you for stock. They all may have different stock and prices.
You may not get 2000 sq ft but take that as an opportunity to mix and match.

I got GBI Tile & Stone Inc. 18-in x 18-in Capri Rust Thru Body Porcelain Floor Tile for effectively 25 cents per sq ft. Enough from three different stores to cover my garage. Mind you, these are rectified and PEI 5 rated tiles. These regularly go for $2.19/sq ft for 18x18 and $1.98 /sq ft for 12x12

I also saw 600 sq ft of 12x12 for $30 cents/sq ft that a lady snagged last week before I could make up my mind and order.

Patience my friend. :thumbup:
