Tile flooring and drain

I am getting ready to redo the flooring in my 1600 sq foot garage. My installer says I need to grind off the old peeling epoxy coating. I started looking at Commercial Vinyl tile and then thought maybe I could do porcelain tile. However, both sides have a drain in the center of the sloping floor and I wash my cars in the garage especially when its cold outside(Heat and Air in the garage) so from what I have seen rigid tile would not work due to the drain issue. My installer says we would need to use an epoxy type glue since I will wash the car on the tile. Thoughts on this please or any other ideas please.
I have a bid of $6000. to do a new epoxy floor. Looking at 1600 for tile plus a $1.00 a tile to install plus labor and equipment to grind the floor should come in around 3200 to 4000 using this method.
The porcelain tile sounds great but the drain issue is the challenge
Also looking for the hardness specs and slickness specs for the tile

We have hundreds of fire houses use our solid www.supratile.com over these kinds of floor with drains. Fire houses wash the equipment all the time indoors.

You will need to use the Epoxy Adhesive we carry under the tiles as the adhesive acts as a 'dam' to possible eliminate water migration under the tiles.

See www.armor-tuff.com for some examples. The cost though would be in the $3.75 per sq foot range with adhesive for materials.

They tile showers all over America and all often have a floor drain

Garage tiles have applications like this that are ready to go. For example TrueLock HD or HD Extreme with ribbed tiles over the drain. I am not an expert in porcelain tiles but, for a round drain I would cut a hole slightly smaller and get some longer screws for the plate.

For a square drain, I would drill some smaller holes. You will need to play with it a little. Enough to let water through but hold integrity of tile.
