Tile in shed for welding

Im planning a 14x24 shed with wood floor... I would love to be able to use my mig welder from time to time without worry of burning the thing down... How do ceramic tiles hold up.. Or is there a better idea.. Concrete slab is not an option in my situation...

Want it cheap? Use concrete backer board.

I would guess ceramic tile would work too, but not very cheap, and you would need the concrete backer board anyhow.

I vote for the slab, it will outlast and out perform the wooden floor
