Tile inspiration for 1-car garage?

Hi all, new member here with a 1-car garage that I wanted to add some protection as it's currently bare concrete. Was initially thinking epoxy, but after reading more about tiles (RaceDeck and Truelock), I'm pretty set on them. More specifically, the vented/open ones for the majority of it as I'm located in the Boston area and don't want the area to be covered in slush/saltwater during the winters. Another idea is having carpeted tiles in the front few feet towards the entrance to the house and then a border of solid with interior of open tiles.

The question or request to you all is any pics or design inspiration for a 1-car garage (saw lots of really nice garages, but they're primarily larger 2+ car garages that I wish I had!)? The garage is probably about 10' x 19' (W x L). I was thinking a framed look like the picture below, but I'm afraid with a narrow 1-car garage, it'll make the garage look smaller than it already is.

I'd highly recommend the RaceDeck "FreeFlow" tiles for your winter conditions. I'm in Idaho and I love how all the muck drains through in the winter. Come spring, a quick hose down and vacuum makes it look new again. For a small space, I'd stick with one color, or maybe just a 1' dark border with all the same color infill tiles. The freeflow tiles still give you a nice "checkerboard" effect with the four smaller squares within each 1' tile.

Thanks, was thinking the same thing with "FreeFlow"/Open tiles. Solid tiles just seems like it'd be awful to clean up all the melted slush and saltwater. The boss was saying that she'd be okay with the a different color edge, but the edge will only be for the opening to the garage right?

So you don’t have tool cabinets or workbenches or anything else along the walls? I’ve seen elaborate designs that were then eventually mostly covered up when owners put in cabinets and piled up stuff against the walls. I would go with a solid color, but maybe I’m just a boring kind of guy.

Correct, your edge pieces will only go where you need a ramp at the door opening. You could still do a border of tiles around the perimeter. Below is a pic where you can see the edge tiles at the door area of my garage.

Not planning on it currently as there's not too much space on the sides. I would like to put some carpet tiles towards the front as there will probably be storage there, like racks and upright freezer.

It all comes down to matching the flooring to the use it will be subjected to. I have written numerous times here on my RaceDeck Free Flow and the activities I have done in my garage. NO complaints. Search for my posts if you are interested. Good luck. CJDave.
