Can anyone post pics of a tile red epoxy floor? Looking at this color for my garage just would like to see a couple of reference pics. If you have this color did you get full color coverage in a couple of coats.? thanks

Here is mine. It was the Rustoleum brand from Lowes. I guess it has held up pretty good for 7 years, but it does have a few scratches in it. It looks better than the picture shows as there is quite a bit of dust on it and needs cleaned. I think when I redo it though, I am going to switch out cabinets and maybe put down B&W tiles. The other side of mt garage gets the brunt of the abuse and this side doesn't, so I may just make this side a place to hang, keep the tools, and store the fridge. The other side of the garage used to have the cabinets, but when painting anything, just left areas for dust and overspray to lay, so I am basically bear wall over there. At one time I had the red on the house garage (I'll have to find the pics) and although it looked decent, it darkened it up too much for me. But then too, I also needed better lighting in there. Personally, for me, I prefer a gray floor over the red. The red shows too much dust and dirt. Gray seems to hide it between cleanings.

Hi BK64,

You can contact Fred at AlphaGarage (http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/member.php?u=22680) for a Tile Red that will easily 'hide' or 'cover' in one coat. The shade is similar to the post from Kevin. It seems like you are concerned about needed multiple coats to get good coverage.

We have Tile Red in stock today... but... that could change in the next 5 minutes... It is used extensively in the food processing industry...

I would have never thought of a red floor, I think a bright red floor would look awesome.
