Hi everyone,

Been going back and forth between epoxy and tiles for months now, and believe I have finally decided to go with tile. I've noticed several people have had good results using ceramic tile. I know porcelain is better but I haven't been able to find porcelain that I like in my price range. How will this particular ceramic tile hold up in a garage? (In Houston TX)

Material: Ceramic
Tile Finish: Glazed
Thickness: 8MM
Straight edge (rectified)
PEI 4
Frost Resistance No
Chemical Resistance Yes
Water Absorption Semi-vitreous
ADA Compliant Yes
Dry Coefficient of Friction 0.83
Wet Coefficient of Friction 0.64
Breaking Strength in lbs. Greater than 750

I was concerned with the "Semi-vitreous" rating, is this an issue in the garage?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hey Jack, I've looked at several of your posts, great looking garage!

I'm located in Houston Tx, and its an attached garage so I don't think freeze/thaw cycles will be an issue.
