Been thinking about tiles - cause they look so darn nice but, this question never seems to get answered..... how do you deal with spills and debris?

Winter climate here and we get lots of sand, gravel, mud and grime. Not sure tiles work very well in a winter climate? Do you have any first hand experience you can share?

Also - in a working shop how do you deal with spills? It happens; radiator fluid, oil etc. When I get a spill now I throw down couple handfuls of oil dri absorbent. How do you handle spills with tiles - particularly the free flow tiles?

The free flow tiles would seem to be entirely out of the question?

Started reading your thread thinking you meant porcelain tiles but now realize you're talking about the race deck style. I'm going with porcelain and won't have any of the concerns you mentioned above.

Yea I was also thinking that he is talking about porcelain, and wondering why is he concerned with any of the stuff. Lol. That being said, go with porcelain. Click links in my sig, search the forum, see what people have done with porcelain.
