I’m curious if anyone might have information on a Tilting Arbor saw that has been in my family for many years.

I’ve included several photos. I’m looking for any manuals that might have come with it.

Thank you in advance.

You will notice in the ad that they offered both tilting arbor and tilting table saws. This was probably a big deal since most table saws back then had tilting tables. My dad had a craftsman tilting table saw and several of his friends had similar saws. His first tilting arbor saw was a kit that supplied all the hard parts and the owner built the body and table from plywood. He and then I used that saw for years. It was very accurate.

If you have not yet done this, go to www.vintagemachinery.org They have loads of information, including photos, ads, scanned manuals, etc. of all types of old woodworking machinery. I just took a quick look and see photos of saws very similar to yours under the American Machine & Tool grouping. You may find some good information there.

Tilting table saws were replaced by tilting arbor saws because it was so dangerous to work on a tilting table.

That said what's so great about your saw is you've got the original miter gage and it looks like a few other original options.
