You can swap out a three-phase motor with a single-phase without a lot of work usually. Though cost can be a factor.

You could also get a small VFD to run the three phase motor on your single phase power. A lot of the small VFD's will take single phase input.

Duplex controller? When I use my bead blaster I supplement my 10 cfm compressor by adding a 1.5 HP 5 cfm unit in parallel via a T and some quick connects.

Duplex is good when you size your plant correctly for demand. Its best for professional auto shops and up.

Holy wah they stick you for $2800 then they want you to buy the start up kit for $90..... I m still looking.

After the problems I had with my Tractor suppply IR 80 gal, I'd wish I would have gotten a Quincy or Champion from TP Tools. I would go with either.

I bit the bullet and bought the Quincy! I placed my order over the phone so I was able to get the start-up kit for free that is a savings of $100 . Now I have to wait patiently for 14-18 days for it to be delivered.

I took delivery of my air-compressor! I had to meet the truck in town due to the person on the phone saying I don't see any place for a 70ft truck to turn around or anyway for it to make it back to the main road. I said there is a well traveled gravel road that will take him back to the main road. They replied back our drivers are not qualified to drive on gravel roads..... I'm really digging the fact it is made in the USA...
