So, I just got a Snap-On SL80A, long handle 1/2 ratchet and it is MUCH smoother, needs MUCH less force and is quieter than my F80 standard length 3/8th ratchet.

The F80 is maybe 3yrs old and has never been serviced or oiled.

SL80A vs F80 Ratchet video.

Think the F80 needs some oil in it?

I have heard SuperLube recommended here many times but I am not sure which product in their line is suggested.

Anything else good from Home Depot, Lowes or Ace Hardware?

Someone around here recommended Permatex Ultra Slick (red) assembly lube, which I've tried on my old Craftsman ratchets, and it works great!

After seeing it recommended here, I tried the super-lube grease from harbor freight, as it was the only super-lube product they had. Despite being pretty light for a grease, it jammed up my fine-tooth ratchets like crazy. I washed all that **** out and tried a few oils. I settled on super-lube air tool oil, since I have it on hand. Very light, but persistent, works like a charm. Lesson learned: oil, not grease, for my stuff.
