I have some time off from work coming up and the kids will be with my wife out of town for a few days. This means I'll have 20-hour days to get some major projects done around the house. Between work, family, and other commitments, I rarely have a chunk of time to work on time-sensitive things. Planning on tackling the shop floor treatment. My question pertains to timing between grinding and coating. If I have time to rent a grinder and grind the floor, how long can I wait between doing that and coating the floor with whatever I chose to use (likely I'll end up doing epoxy/hellfire combo). If I can get the walls painted and the inside finished, then I'll grind the floor and just leave it untouched (so as to not contaminate my work) until I get another big chunk of time to do the floor (maybe a few days to a week).
Is there anything time-sensitive when grinding for proper surface prep?
Thank you
