That's what I thought, but in practice two features that add very little to the price are VERY handy, RPM display, and digital advance (when the spark occurs at the amount of advance you set in the gun the flash goes off at the TDC mark so its easy to see).

I still don't recall the Actron issue I didn't like. Don't buy the SnapOn even used they have a known bug with the advance setting or rpm, I forget which.

This is what I purchased. It's an older model but at least it has the advance feature. Don't know how this will be compared to the newer digital ones and if the light on those are brighter.This CM is a bit heavy too.

Got it for $45 NIB. Which year/s was this type of unit sold?

I didn't find the light of the Craftsman Pro timing light ( on previous post ) to be bright enough for my liking. In addition it does not have Tach functions thus I sold it. I'm now looking at the following products below to replace it.
