What timing lights do you guys like and why? My old Sears light just took a **** and I need a new one.

I have an OLD (late 60s) SUN a MAC TL 90 and a newish Sears. I only seem to ever to use the MAC for some reason

I havnt used one in 20 years but just bought one from HF for an design project for 28$ with advance, we will see. I imagine Sears has something similar, sometimes with tools like that I take a quick look see as to whats the problem, I might not invest an afternoon but often fix some little deal and never have another issue, dont have to buy one, dont have to look for one.

i had a late 60's penske (dad bought it from montgomery wards) light with the little springy thing that you put between the plug and wire, then clamped the lead for the timing light.
went to use it about 5 years ago, for the 1st time in 20 years

it didnt work :sad:

went to autozone and picked up a cheap sunpro inductive.

havent used a timing light since then....

I have the Sun/Actron chrome light. It would be nice to have one with dial-advance, but this one works well for a basic light.
