Timing to seal a finished floor

Question on sealing concrete floors. I just had a pad poured that is going to be our cottage. It's a frost protected slab, and the concrete surface will be our finished floor. I'm up in Canada and temps are cooling down a bit but still think I can get the sealing done according to the manufacturers spec and temp.

However my question is - is it too soon to seal the slab? I don't have walls up and won't until next year. I'll do all the framing and building and **** like that over the next two/three years (doing it myself part time) and just not sure of the best timing to add a sealer to the slab.

I guess I'm worried I'll damage the seal during the construction process. Any thoughts?

When we sealed the concrete floor in our garage/shop we waited 6-8 weeks for the concrete to cure first. A Google search said the concrete should be cured in 28 days.

The rule of thumb is 30 days for concrete to cure but that is based on standard temps and humidity, and also 6" thickness. We have found that curing can be somewhat less if in a warm/dry or AC environment and MUCH longer if thicker concrete, or cold. Most sealers though are acrylics and can breathe a bit so you should be ok if there is some residual moiture. Check with your supplier for guidance.
