Tinted epoxy SW any downsides?

Local SW do not carry armor seal hs in stock in light gray.
They offered to tint to desired color, haze gray
Any downsides with this?
I need 2 kits so I'd be mixing the two 1 gallon tints before doing first and second coats

There are no downsides in terms of the products. It's like going to your local paint store and color matching a paint. Just make sure you have a record of the color code in case you ever need to go back and make a repair.

Mix the two Part-A resins together first as you said. This will insure color uniformity. Just make sure that you measure off the correct amount when you mix it with your first kit of the Part-B hardener.

Tip: Pour the Part-B hardener into the clean mixing bucket first then add the Part-A resin. This makes mixing easier as the Part-B will flow up and around the edges of the bucket as you pour in the Part-A. The Part-B will not stick to the bucket as much as the sticky Part-A resin.

Do not mix the two kits together at one time. Epoxy is exothermic and that large amount of epoxy will extremely shorten the pot life.

If you have multiple units, I would box all my part "a" . This would give you a more consistent product.

Unlike the paint store, SW is not adding tint to the can, it is added in the batching process.
