I've been thinking of doing this for a long time. I finally went out, bought some tint and tried it. I've never been good at it and got frustrated last time I tried it on a car. When I had the windows tinted on my truck, I paid close attention to what my buddy did. I tried to follow suit as best as I could.

It's 5% Limo tint and the windows are not high dollar replacements, just some off the shelf at HD.

Before.

You can still see in at night but not past the blinds. I left them up to help prevent any prying eyes. I still want to get another roll and do the window in the man door.

That looks pretty good. It's a must for window tint in my vehicles. Never thought about the garage.

How well can you see out of that? I am looking at doing the same thing in my garage windows, but would like to be able to see out in the daytime at least. I just don't want people to be able to see in very well.

I can see out fine. I bought it at Oriellys for about $11 a roll, 24"x6.5'

Looking out is just like looking out from tinted windows in a car. If I remember tommorrow, I will snap a picture from the inside looking out.
