Tinting base white?

I painted my basement floor with the Epoxy-Shield, adhesion seems fine but its somewhat transparent. It's a light base (white), should I have had it "tinted" white? I was assuming it would be okay to use it, it'd just be white... perhaps it needs the 5oz of pigment though.

All light colors need double coats if going over a darker floor especially white.
