I'm looking at purchasing one of these. How is the tip quality compared to the "standard" Snap-on screwdrivers (or the Williams hard handle).

Between the SDDD41 and SDDD101, which do people like better?

It's not a matter of tip quality, but a matter of convenience.

Tip quality on either driver is fine.

Do you need a 6-in-1? Do you need torx? What DO you need.

A bit driver (or ratcheting screwdriver) allows you to swap out worn out bits when used regularly for a fraction of the cost of a new driver and the loss of down time for a week (or more ) until you driver can get back to you. Those multi drivers lack that option for the most part. (but you can get replacment bits of course)

For $20 both are good tools. Great for the car emergency box or road box. Not what I'd use everyday if working in vehicle repair or mfgr. or anywhere where a screwdriver was used daily.

Any bit on both those drivers will be covered for a lifetime under warranty BTW.

I have both, the sddd101 is more convenient in the number of bits it has, but the small hex tube adapter being made out of sheetmetal is a little flimsy. I wouldn't use it for an everything driver, but I do have one in my car, it just makes sense in there.

I find the sddd41 to be more stout, but as jjj stated above, for $20 roughly for either, you can't go wrong, especially since they're both USA.
