Tips for Garage Porcelain Tile Flooring

I am just about to finish the walls on my new (to me) garage and I am now starting to think about the garage floors. I would really like to use Porcelain tile for its looks and strength. This will be a working garage (primarily motorcycles) with lift. The slab was done in the late 70s. There are no joints in the slab and there is only one crack at the rear end of one side of the garage. I am located in the Seattle metro area.

I would appreciate any insights into what I need to consider? Will I need a decoupling membrane? I am not sure whether this will be a DIY project (750+ sf) or not. Anything I need to make sure should be included in a bid?

Search porcelain in titles only. There aren't that many threads and you should read them. These and other issues that you haven't thought about are all there for you.
