Tips on building a large vibratory polisher?

I am planning to build a good sized vibratory polisher (Mr. Deburr 6000 for example), not a small table top 'bowl' shaker. If anyone has done it, what are the "wish I knew before" advice that would have been helpful? What frequencies worked best? What mass of weight, and on what offset? Angles of the tank's interior walls? Does a urethane lining matter for the finish at all, or is it just noise abatement? Any particular motors that absolutely didn't work?

I'm planning on running a typical 3500 rpm single phase motor through a jackshaft driven by V-belts to isolate vibration from the bin to the motor. The sizing will have the weight being spun at 2800 rpm (because that is what I have on hand without ordering different pulley sizes). The weight is undetermined at this point. The shaft would be held to the tank approximately 1/3 of the way up from the bottom with welded risers and bolted pillow blocks supporting the shaft with the weight. The risers are to clearance the driven V belt pulley and weight from the tank side.

I've done the general youtube etc. looking, but if you have specific build vids or threads to link, that would be appreciated, too, even if just to reinforce that I'd already found good ones.

Sounds like an interesting project. I looked up your example, and it's a substantial machine. I'd think it would need very strong mounting on a very strong platform. Noisy, too, I'll bet.

Wait, you think shaking a hundred plus pounds of what are basically rocks in a metal tub for several hours would be loud?
