Anyone use a Longacre scales to corner balance and can provide tips?

First time user, attempting to dial in 04 STi for HPDE. Has coilovers, just looking for tips. What ratio and cross weight should I be shooting for?

Get them level! I'm guessing you don't have slip plates?
If not, I just took an average of three loads/unloads to get close.
Remember that your camber curves get funky as you lose travel.
Everything is a compromise.
Work in small chunks.
Be prepared to spend all day the first time.

Set your shocks or struts as soft as possible while you scale the car. We used to disconnect the shocks on the racecar I crewed on when we scaled it. Shocks would not let the car settle to the same place repeadedly. This would throw off the corner weights. String around the tires for your ride height, when on the scales. Weight will shift across the car on each end for any given static weight when adjusting a corner. Eg. 1 turn down on LF spring adj. (more preload) = LF heavier, RF lighter, RR heavier, LR lighter. Front totals and rear totals should not change.

Thanks for the input, good tips. Probably will take a day to level ramps etc even before placing car on scales as my shop floor is not level. Sad face, but we shall overcome.

Lots to learn.
