tips on installing a racedeck floor

i just purchased tiles from race deck and am wondering if there are tips for installing...

i have a basic design of bordered checkerboards centered in front of each bay (2 by 2 car garages) on a background field. i went with the evolution tile.

there are two ~12"x12" posts down the center of one garage, a closet a work bench area and garage door lift sensors that i will need to fit around/under.

instructions from racedeck:

leave 1/2" around all cut outs (posts/edges) for thermal expansion/contraction

start with edging and work towards back of garage

car lifts can be placed on tile or slab (slab would require cut out of tile)​

specific questions:

can tiles be easily replaced after install to repair damage or install car lift on slab (cut out tile)?

which is better, car lift on slab or on tile?

should tiles be installed in closet?

is there any special prep to floor besides basic cleaning?

what's the best way to cut tiles?​

i'd appreciate any tips/wisdom from people who have installed race deck...

I would (and did) place both my lifts on the tiles I did not want to cut the tiles, I have never replaced a damaged tile so I can't say if it makes a difference with the lift on or off but when I moved a few years ago, I pulled up the Racedeck floor in less than 1 hour to take it with me, it was ridiculously easy so I repairing a tile should be the same.

I would do the closet also just for consistency but that is your choice.

Sweep and put the tiles down.

I used a jig saw for the intricate cuts, the others my band saw but I only used the band saw to end up with a nice straight edge since I could use the saw fence.
