Question about the inside clamping tire changers.
There are covers but they only cover when holding the wheel by clamping from outside the of the rim.

The inside clamping can do a bigger rim always.

It has "teeth" on it. I was suggest I could try to attach some rubber pieces, is that a realistic solution or not?
I know most people don't care about a few dimples but it is possible slip and scratch?

They make covers that cover both the inside and outside. If your manufacturer does not make them maybe someone else's will fit. check Myers tire supply.
