tire changer

Recently bought an old used Atlas ETC-10 center post tire changer. Works OK. Does anyone know where to find an owners/ operators manual ? May need to buy some parts as well.

Do you have a picture of the machine? It might be the same as a Coates tire changer.

Its the same as a Coats if i recall. Pretty simple to use.

Place wheel in post.
Run down nut.
Break bead.
Insert bar and pull tire off.

Not much to them.
What parts are you in need of?

I got an old Coats 20-20 which is pretty similar from my father in law a couple of years ago and I was able to find some info on a Ford truck forum. I don't have the pdfs on this laptop, but I'll search around... The top bead breaker never worked well as designed so I ended up using a piece of chain to keep the bead breaker tight up to the rim... See picture...

I dug out an old rim and tire and just practiced taking it off and on...
