Tire inflator

Looking for a decent tire inflator to put in my parents garage. He already has a pancake compressor and it ***** and is kind of heavy considering they are getting up in age.

Would like to get them a decent unit that they could operate. Any suggestions?

His choices are kind of limited if a pancake Compressor is too heavy to lift.

The 12 V compressor from Harbor freight or well-built and will get the job done.

otherwise I have had the 2 gallon version of this is got the job done for 10 years. It probably weighs similar to what the pancake compressor does.

Could you put the pancake unit on a two wheel cart to make it easy to move. You could make a couple of hooks to wind the air hose and power cord on to.

I suppose that may work-- I should have reworded my original post. It's not necessarily the weight, it's the awkward hold. It hangs into your hip when you carry it. He's on some medicines now that make him bruise easily.

What about a Milton inflator and longer hose if he can leave compressor in garage?

I have a small Sears 120 volt inflator that works just fine for keeping tires filled up. I dont know about a 12 volt one, too much of a pain in my opinion. Much easier to plug in to the wall. I dont see the one I have on the Sears site but this one should be about the same:

Hose reel would be my suggestion. Pancakes aren't the much heavier than an inflator.
