Tire Machine Recommendations 19.5" G

I own a small HD shop in N. IL. and we get trucks in with 19.5" G load tires.
We get a fair amount of 16" on the GM and Ford chassis too, but those and the big truck tires are a breeze with spoons compared to the 19.5".
I do not need a new machine as they run $7-10K.
Therefore, I'd like to find a used machine and if we start doing more upgrade later.
I have searched and searched, and even visited the manufacturers at SEMA 2023, but they do not want to discuss previous models.
I'm open to different brands but prefer Made in USA.

Anyone know of a previous model that will handle the 16" to 19.5" G tires?

Leverless?

Balancer for the same?

Most tire machine manufacturers list the info you're looking for.

• External Rim Diameter

• Max Tire Diameter

• Max Rim Width

All you need to do is find the old spec sheets (or demo a used unit before you buy it and bring a tape measure).

Most newer machines can support up to a 24" rim (externally mounted) with a total rim diameter of 50" before it starts to rub on the post. Additionally, most newer machines can accept up to a 10" or 11" wide rim. Having said that, I've mounted tires wider than 50" and you just have to rub/squeeze them on the post as you mount them

The specs I can find do not clearly say whether they can handle the 14 ply sidewalls.
I did find a few older videos of companies doing 19.5" on their machines.
Hunter(Corghi): Auto34R or TCX575
Rotary: R146
Chorgi: A9428TI
Coats: 70X or 80C

Do you have experience with any of these machines?

The tire shops we use here use tire bars on 19.5's.

As I type this, Big O tires is mounting up a full set of 6 245/70R19.5 tires for me. They said they mount the rims in a machine and then use bars to change them. They said the beads are a pain....

Yes they are! The bars/spoons **** on such small tires with thick sidewalls.

I havent had any problems personally. I've only mounted a few 19.5's but tons of 14 and 16 ply trailer tires without issue on my old as hell (1980's) Coats RC10a.
Do you have a bead assist arm? If not, spoons/irons or the use of several bead clamps/drop center tools will help.
Here's a guy on Youtube dismounting and mounting a 19.5 - dont mind that he has a bead assist arm, your irons/spoons can do just as good a job with a little grunting: Video
