looking to buy either an Atlas or Weaver tire machine...seems like they have the best inventory of parts, if needed...

one review said Nationwide was their top choice, with Triumph coming in 3rd...

anyone have any of those, and had problems, or good experience?

I think you’d be okay with whichever one you’re leaning toward.
I bought a Chinese set almost 2 years ago and have been happy with them. I can’t really speak of their support because I haven’t needed any.
Assuming this is for home shop use, I doubt you’ll ever have any major problems. I’ve seen local independent tire shops using the same ones I have for a few years, and they still use them daily.

The one downside of this set is that A/T & M/T 35s get a little tight, but they’re still very manageable. 51692885d8e2ffd4d584ade78c8454d2.jpg

coats tire changers are the industry standard. I have used many different ones and they are the easiest ones to use and the simplest to operate.

Just went through this exact same decision. My lift is Atlas and I’ve had a great customer service experience and support from Greg Smith so I started there.

In the end I went with the Derek Weaver machines. Their delivered price was just that much better than even picking up machines from a Greg Smith warehouse. Given the parts availability I wanted to go with one of these companies vice the straight from China but cheaper option.

I’ve only had them a few weeks, and choosing 55-series tires on 18” alloy rims originally designed for run flats was probably not the best decision for my first set to change, but I love the machines. No regrets going with Derek Weaver.

Had a little issue with their freight company, but they got it resolved in a matter of minutes.

I’d say you can go wrong with either “brand.”
