long story short, I purchased a Ranger tire changer 5 years ago model RX 950 AT, it now has died on me and requires more then half of what its worth in repairs.

My question is what you guys use and what you like and hate about the machine

We have been using a hunter tcs3250 for over 10 years and handles most tires we throw at it I am not sure of the current offerings but they are used for reasonable pricing

Coats.... Pretty much the main standard around here. Used the Hunter machines at school, didn't care for them.

At school it is Hunter and it's only non-negotiable want is AIR...plenty of it. Holds up well, and is forgiving of students.

Used to be coats, they were reliable and long lasting, but can be pricey - even used.

I would like a rim clamp Coats, I dont care if all-air powered or if it has electric turntable/air for the rest.... dont need the "assist arms" to help break the beads down either... just the basic post and duck bill head

My favorite machine was an older FMC turn table style. I could change a tire and balance it in under 5 minutes. Then I used some hunters and I thought they sucked, mainly the anemic bead blasted. My body has a Coats and if I have was to buy one, it would be a Coats. All air, **** the electric turntable.
