Hey all,
I coated my garage floor in oct 2017 with armorpoxy. I primed, epoxy, and then clear coated. Let dry for 1 week before driving on.
I've been dealing with these dirt / tire marks that won't go away for about 2 of the 31/2 years it's been coated. I clean the floor very regularly with a diluted simple green mix. But the marks just don't come out. I scrub with a brush, towel, no luck cleaning it.

Picture below is AFTER I just cleaned it today. I will say the picture makes it look 2X as bad as it is, but still you get the idea.

Again in clean the floor very regularly..even in the winter I'll get out there on a warmer day and rinse and clean the salt and muck off. I had epoxy coat brand on my old house garage floor. And after a couple years of that I never had this kind of cleaning issue.
Ideas?
Thanks

I used Nohr-S and had tire marks from the very first minute I drove one of my cars on it. So disappointing. Sold the house months after install but the new place needs a floor coating and I'm desperate for a coating that doesn't get tire marks from the oils in the performance tires of my cars.

OP, please post an update if you find a solution for this or find a coating that avoids this.

If the armorpoxy is fairly chemical resistant, get some Mac's Aluminum Brightener from Napa. Dilute it and spray on and rinse. Don't let dry. It works on red dirt stains on siding and exteriors. Do a test spot in an inconspicuous spot first to make sure it doesn't react. Ive used it straight on vinyl siding and painted concrete with good success.

I recently installed their Low Voc epoxy coating, in the exact same color and chips as your floor. I also noticed my tires leaving marks right after the install. Recently I used full strength Purple Power degreaser with a tooth brush and the stains came completely out. In my case, the stains were limited to where I parked my hot rod, not in stripes like your stains.

I would like to make a suggestion. I buy a lot of products. I also sell a lot of products. What I try and do is always go straight to the source first. Armorpoxy has outstanding support. That would avoid someone perhaps assuming things about their product that may or may not be true. Try dropping them a PM.

if this were my floor I would sand the clear (I am assuming there is a good clear now) until I could not see the tire marks and go back with two coats of Polyurea at 200SF/ gallon

Not being critical of the post. Its just way easier to help a customer when they come to you directly as none of us see every post on the forum

OP, curious what you used for the topcoat (polyurathane, polyurea, clear expoxy, etc)?

The site below recommends NAB tire mark remover:
